24Hrs of Change is a revolution in fundraising!  Using Internet Marketing as a power to do GREAT GOOD!

24 hrs of Change has been conceived to use the power of the internet to deliver massive change to the lives of millions of people around the world – staging an event that for 24 hrs focuses the worlds attention on contibution – whilst providing huge value to the contributor to make real change in their own lives.

Presently the 24hrs Team is a small collective working from Australia with a network of relationships around the world.

The inspiration for this event came from a ‘wrong path’.  We gathered to organise a ball to raise funds for our favourite ‘big change’ organisation – The Hunger Project (THP).  But when we did the logistics and maths we found we were asking many of our friends and connections to pay up a substantial ticket price of which a very small percentage would actually reach THP.  Most of the money would go to the venue, the caterer, the entertainment etc.

We thought there had to be a better way – where people could get DOUBLE value for their donation – not only the satisfaction of giving but the joy of receiving. AND the organisations we wanted to support could get 99% of the cash!  BUT we liked the constraint of a dedicated event to focus attention.

That’s when the virtual event was born.  With a small team that understands the power of networking and leveraging we can make huge things happen.  We are gathering support from some of the planets’ most stellar personal, professional and lifestyle change agents, who pool their information, stories and tips in our virtual vault.   When we combine that support with the millions of people interested in that information who also want to contribute to the world in small but meaningful ways – then we have a magic mix.
